These Community Standards govern the conduct and interactions of all users on holito's community experience platform, operated by AIXR LTD.

1. Introduction

These Community Standards ("Standards") govern the conduct and interactions of all users ("Users", "Community Managers", "Event Organizers", or "you") on the holito community experience platform, operated by AIXR LTD (company number 14982097) ("AIXR", "holito", "we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using our platform and services, you agree to abide by these Standards, as well as our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and any other applicable policies.

holito is designed to help product communities build, engage, and measure their impact. Our platform facilitates community discovery, management, events, competitions, and integrations with external tools like Discord, GitHub, and Slack. These Standards ensure a safe, inclusive, and productive environment for all community members.

Enforcement

Failure to comply with these Standards may result in actions against your account, including warnings, content removal, community restrictions, suspension, or termination of access without refund. AIXR reserves the right to take appropriate action to maintain platform safety and integrity.

2. Community Participation Standards

2.1 Respectful Interaction

All users must treat community members with respect and courtesy. holito brings together diverse communities from around the world, and we expect all interactions to reflect this diversity positively.

2.2 Prohibited Conduct

The following behaviors are strictly prohibited across all communities and platform interactions:

  • Harassment and Bullying: Any form of harassment, bullying, intimidation, or persistent unwelcome contact
  • Hate Speech and Discrimination: Content or behavior targeting individuals based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, age, or other protected characteristics
  • Inappropriate Content: Sharing adult, explicit, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content
  • Impersonation: Creating fake accounts or misrepresenting your identity, affiliation, or credentials
  • Fraudulent Activities: Scams, pyramid schemes, fraudulent ticket sales, or dishonest business practices
  • Spam and Abuse: Excessive posting, irrelevant content, or misuse of platform features

3. Community Management Responsibilities

3.1 Community Manager Duties

Community managers have special responsibilities and access to member data to facilitate effective community building and event coordination. With this access comes the responsibility to protect member privacy and use data appropriately.

  • • Protect member information with appropriate security measures
  • • Respect member privacy preferences where possible
  • • Not share member data with unauthorized third parties
  • • Comply with applicable data protection laws and regulations
  • • Be transparent about data collection during event registration

3.2 Community Standards Enforcement

Community managers are expected to maintain community standards and can set additional community-specific guidelines that align with these platform-wide Standards.

Community managers should moderate content and behavior fairly, provide clear community guidelines to members, and escalate serious violations to holito support when necessary.

4. Events and Competitions Standards

4.1 Event Organization

Event organizers using holito's ticketing and event management features must comply with applicable laws and provide accurate event information to attendees.

Event Organizer Requirements

  • • Provide accurate event descriptions, dates, times, and locations
  • • Honor ticket sales and refund policies where applicable
  • • Ensure events comply with local laws and regulations
  • • Manage event capacity and safety requirements appropriately
  • • Respond to attendee inquiries in a timely manner
  • • Handle ticketing disputes fairly and transparently

4.2 Competitions and Awards

Competitions, awards, and giveaways hosted through holito must be conducted fairly and in compliance with applicable laws, including any required permits or tax obligations.

Competition organizers must clearly communicate rules, judging criteria, prizes, and eligibility requirements. All competitions must be conducted transparently with fair judging processes.

5. Platform Integrations and Connected Services

5.1 Integration Guidelines

holito supports integrations with Discord, GitHub, Slack, and other platforms to enhance community experiences. Users connecting external accounts must ensure they have appropriate permissions and comply with the terms of connected services.

  • • Only connect accounts you own or have authorization to manage
  • • Respect the terms of service of connected platforms (Discord, GitHub, Slack)
  • • Manage integration permissions appropriately
  • • Ensure cross-platform communications comply with all relevant community standards
  • • Disconnect integrations if no longer needed or authorized

5.2 Cross-Platform Communication

When using holito's announcement and communication features that broadcast across integrated platforms, ensure all messages comply with the community standards of each connected platform and respect member preferences for communication frequency and type.

6. Intellectual Property and Content Standards

6.1 Content Ownership and Rights

Users may only share content they own or have the right to use. This includes text, images, videos, logos, and any other materials uploaded to communities, events, or competitions.

Do not upload, post, or share copyrighted material, trademarks, or other intellectual property without proper authorization. Respect the intellectual property rights of others and report suspected infringement.

6.2 Community Branding

Community managers may customize their community branding with logos, banners, and visual elements. Ensure all branding materials respect intellectual property rights and do not mislead members about community affiliation or endorsements.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

7.1 Personal Information Protection

Do not share your own or other users' personal information, such as private email addresses, phone numbers, or home addresses, without explicit consent. Be mindful that profile information is visible to community members by default.

Respect the privacy of others by not recording, screenshotting, or sharing private conversations without permission. When organizing events that collect additional personal information, be transparent about data use and protection.

7.2 Analytics and Tracking

Community managers using holito's AI analysis and tracking features must ensure they comply with applicable data protection laws and inform community members about analytics activities where required.

8. Commercial Activities and Promotion

8.1 Appropriate Promotion

Users may promote their professional services, products, and community-related activities when relevant to the community context. However, excessive self-promotion, spam, or irrelevant commercial content is prohibited.

Focus on contributing valuable insights and knowledge to communities rather than purely promotional content. Respect individual community guidelines regarding commercial activities.

8.2 Ticketed Events and Monetization

When using holito's ticketing features for paid events, ensure all pricing is transparent, refund policies are clearly communicated, and transactions are conducted honestly. Comply with applicable tax obligations and business registration requirements.

9. Reporting Violations and Enforcement

9.1 Reporting Process

If you encounter violations of these Standards or suspect inappropriate or illegal activity on the platform, please report it to holito immediately at [email protected]. We will investigate all reports and take appropriate action.

When reporting violations, provide as much detail as possible including usernames, community names, event details, or screenshots to help our team investigate effectively.

9.2 Enforcement Actions

Depending on the severity and frequency of violations, holito may take various enforcement actions including content removal, community restrictions, account suspension, or permanent termination. Serious violations may be reported to appropriate authorities.

Progressive Enforcement

  • Warning: First-time minor violations may receive warnings with guidance
  • Content Removal: Violating content may be removed from communities or events
  • Community Restrictions: Temporary restrictions on community participation
  • Account Suspension: Temporary suspension of platform access
  • Account Termination: Permanent removal from the platform

10. Updates and Legal Compliance

10.1 Standards Updates

holito reserves the right to update these Standards at any time to address new issues, clarify existing policies, or improve the platform experience. We will notify users of significant changes through the platform or appropriate communication channels.

Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Standards. If you disagree with changes, you must stop using the platform.

10.2 Legal Compliance

All users must comply with applicable laws and regulations while using holito, including but not limited to data protection, privacy, intellectual property, consumer protection, and anti-discrimination laws.

Users agree to indemnify holito against any claims arising from their violation of these Standards or applicable laws.

10.3 Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Standards shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provisions in our Terms of Service. Both parties agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
